Proving her credentials as an actress, she was central to some of the shows more intense storylines- sympathetically addressing the topics of self-harm and bereavement. Her decision to leave Hollyoaks was a difficult one but she has relished the challenges that Hollyoaks: In the City had to offer her, "I had a fantastic four and a half years on Hollyoaks but it felt right to move on and try something new. Filming scenes for the new show has been great fun and the cast are fantastic. The new show will definitely be more risqué than Hollyoaks and fans are in for a treat as we see a much sexier side to Lisa!"
